Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a passion for infrastructure development to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve engineering objectives.
• Evaluate the environmental impact of projects and propose solutions.
• Review and approve project designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Implement changes to project design and scope as necessary.
• Ensure client satisfaction through effective project delivery.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to maintain quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure development projects

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Technologist certification
• First Aid Training certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Project Management: PMI or similar project management certification.
• Experience in Water Resource Management: Knowledge of water resource management principles.
