DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer in Cape Town, you will be integral in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our cloud deployments. We're looking for someone who has a passion for automation and can collaborate well within a team to drive our technological advancements forward.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Collaborate on disaster recovery strategies and execution.
• Audit and assess system security measures and compliance controls.
• Drive performance tuning and optimization initiatives.
• Support the integration of database management into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on DevOps practices.
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications in DevOps methodology are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps processes and tools
