Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Specialist to lead initiatives that address public health challenges in Cape Town. This role involves assessing community health needs, designing programs to improve health outcomes, and collaborating with local health agencies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of public health principles and a passion for community health improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement strategies for health education campaigns.
  • Work with data analysts to assess health outcomes and program impact.
  • Develop partnership agreements with organizations for collaborative health efforts.
  • Provide expertise in public health to inform local policy and planning.
  • Engage with community members to foster interest and involvement in health initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a public health role
