Job Description

As a Compression Molding Machine Setter at ABC Plastics, you'll be responsible for setting up and maintaining the machinery used for producing high-quality plastic products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating molding machines, ensuring peak performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operatively set up and run compression molding machines according to guidelines.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on the machinery.
• Check and validate that all products conform to quality control standards.
• Solve mechanical issues by coordinating with engineering and production teams.
• Document daily production metrics and equipment status.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Perform routine quality checks on production outputs.
• Assist in training junior staff on proper machine operation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Advantageous
