Job Description

The Credit Professional will be responsible for managing the credit risk of the organization and ensuring that all credit processes are in line with company policies and industry regulations. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of our credit systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of client financial histories.
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine creditworthiness.
  • Develop reporting tools to track credit performance and risks.
  • Advise management on potential credit issues.
  • Negotiate payment plans with clients to facilitate recovery.
  • Update credit files with new information as required.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing accounts to re-evaluate credit limits.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a financial or credit role.
Technical Skills
  • Financial modelling
  • Credit risk software

Advantageous

  • Experience in managing credit teams: Leadership experience in a credit-related function.
  • Experience in international credit markets: Knowledge of global credit practices.
