Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality shoe molds. Your attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to follow precise instructions will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and adjust machine settings for production.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety protocols.
• Support inventory management by maintaining accurate records of materials used.

Requirements

Experience

• Familiarity with footwear manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of safety protocols
• Ability to read technical diagrams

Languages

• Zulu: Basic
