The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating insurance applications and determining coverage levels based on risk assessment. Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and underwriting risks.
• Determine coverage amounts and premiums based on risk assessment.
• Review financial documents and applicant information.
• Consult with agents and clients to gather additional information.
• Monitor and analyze current policies to identify potential risks.
• Maintain meticulous records of decisions and rationales.
• Provide guidance to junior underwriters on case assessments.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and company policies in all underwriting decisions.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a sought-after field
• Industry certifications are advantageous

Experience

• Min. 4 years experience in insurance underwriting
