Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance products and advise on pricing strategies.
• Perform statistical analysis to assess risks associated with insurance policies.
• Collaborate with IT to streamline data collection processes.
• Offer strategic advice on capital management and investment strategies.
• Mentor junior actuaries and assist in their professional development.
• Contribute to research initiatives within the actuarial field.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in actuarial practice

Technical Skills

• Excel
• R or Python

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
