Job Description

As a Healthcare Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the administrative functions of our healthcare facility in Johannesburg. You will ensure operational efficiency and uphold quality standards while working closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead administrative initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure accurate billing and coding practices are followed.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders for healthcare services.
  • Monitor and report on operational metrics for improvement.
  • Mentor and train administrative staff on best practices.
  • Organize health awareness programs for the community.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of office supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment for staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration or Management
  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related field is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare administration
