Security Operations Center Analyst

Job Description

As a Security Operations Center Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our cybersecurity efforts, monitoring and responding to security incidents while ensuring the integrity of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SIEM tools to monitor security metrics and identify anomalies.
• Conduct assessments of security technologies and recommend enhancements.
• Work with the IT department to deploy security solutions.
• Participate in incident management and create actionable plans.
• Provide feedback on security policies to ensure relevance.
• Perform regular penetration tests to evaluate system vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with external agencies during security incidents as needed.
• Conduct root cause analysis for significant security events.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in information security, preferably in a SOC environment

Languages
