Job Description

Join our dynamic nursing team as a Registered Nurse in Cape Town, where you'll provide vital patient support and care. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patient conditions, implementing treatment plans, and educating patients about health management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and patient evaluations.
  • Assist in developing nursing care strategies in partnership with healthcare teams.
  • Provide wound care and manage IV lines as required.
  • Document patient progress and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions.
  • Guide and support junior nursing staff in clinical practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety within the nursing environment.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and address concerns effectively.
  • Coordinate patient discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Stay updated with best practices in nursing care.
  • Participate in ongoing nursing education and training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse with valid South African Nursing Council registration
Experience
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
