Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in pretoria, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, responsible for monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. You will be vital in assessing patient conditions, educating them on health management, and ensuring compliance with care protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Administer treatments and medications as per physician instructions.
  • Assess patient conditions and intervene as required.
  • Document patient care and report any changes in conditions to physicians.
  • Participate in health education and promotion for patients and families.
  • Support patients’ physical and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

  • Advocate for patient wellness and safety through compliance with standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered nursing diploma or degree
  • Critical care experience is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting
