Job Description

We are looking for a General Practitioner who values patient-centered care and wants to make a difference. You will perform comprehensive assessments and offer personalized care, while collaborating with our medical team to ensure the best patient outcomes in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health histories and conditions.
• Implement treatment protocols based on best practices.
• Assist in minor surgical procedures when required.
• Engage with patients to build trust and rapport.
• Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve care delivery.
• Participate in medical rounds and case discussions.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and medical students.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine
• Postgraduate training in Family Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role

Certifications

• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications in Primary Health Care.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
