Join our dynamic team in Durban as a Project Manager. You will oversee various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and a passion for project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Establish project plans and communication protocols.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Review and approve project invoices and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Mentor junior project staff and contribute to their development.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages feedback.
• Utilize project management software to track progress and manage resources.
• Coordinate with local authorities and agencies as needed.
• Evaluate project performance and develop improvement strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Engineering or Architecture is a plus
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in construction project management
