Job Description

Our healthcare facility in Port Elizabeth is looking for a Registered Nurse who is committed to providing excellent care to patients. You will be responsible for monitoring patient health, collaborating with doctors, and ensuring treatment plans are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
  • Support patients in daily activities as required.
  • Assist in emergency procedures and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and interpret results.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult times.
  • Engage in community outreach programs and health education initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Africa
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a nursing role

Certifications
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
