Accountant

Job Description

Join our team as an Accountant where you will take charge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance aspects of the business. You should possess excellent analytical skills and be comfortable advising management on financial performance. Your role is pivotal in coordinating audits and tax preparations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Perform regular reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Support external and internal audits.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA or SAIPA certification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field
