We are in search of a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. You will play a key role in managing ETL processes and SQL databases while ensuring optimal data performance. The ideal candidate must be proficient in data warehousing, data modeling, and have strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize ETL processes to ensure effective data flows.
• Develop robust SQL scripts for data transformations and reporting.
• Collaborate with business units to establish data needs.
• Ensure compliance with data management policies and practices.
• Conduct data quality checks and audits to maintain data integrity.
• Assist in the architecture of scalable and efficient data systems.
• Provide mentorship and training for junior data engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL development
