UX Designer

Job Description

As a UX Designer, you will be tasked with understanding user needs and translating them into beautiful and functional designs. Based in Cape Town, our team seeks someone who is passionate about user experience and eager to push the boundaries of creativity in the digital space.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate design ideas.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
• Prepare and present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and software applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX design

Technical Skills

• Figma
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• User-Centric Thinking
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Knowledge of front-end technologies to collaborate effectively with developers.
• Prior experience in an Agile environment: Experience working in an Agile team setting, understanding sprints and retrospectives.
