Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a Tax Consultant passionate about taxation and client service to join our Pretoria team. Your role will involve advising clients on tax-related issues, preparing tax returns, and conducting tax assessments to ensure compliance with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
• Advise clients on tax compliance and regulations.
• Conduct research on tax issues and develop strategies.
• Analyze financial data to optimize tax liability.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Assist with audits and resolve tax disputes.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
• Train and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Postgraduate Certificate in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax consulting or compliance
