Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Cape Town office. The ideal candidate will focus on assessing and enhancing our clients' security protocols to defend against cyber threats, providing insights on risk management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client systems and identify security risks.
• Create and implement incident response plans.
• Advise clients on disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper deployment of security measures.
• Participate in cybersecurity audits and assessments.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting security findings.
• Foster a culture of security awareness within client organizations.
• Engage in ongoing research to stay ahead of threats.
• Assist in maintaining security standards and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in security consulting or a related field

• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
