Responsibilities
Analyze samples for microbial content and report findings.
Conduct research to advance the field of microbiology.
Maintain lab equipment and ensure it is operational.
Assist in the training of interns and new staff.
Evaluate new technologies and methods for laboratory applications.
Work with quality assurance teams to maintain high standards.
Supervise laboratory staff during testing processes.
Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing research and testing.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field
Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting
