Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Consultant to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to promoting sustainable practices. You will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, developing sustainability strategies, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed environmental assessments of projects.
  • Create tailored sustainability solutions for clients.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international environmental standards.
  • Compile reports highlighting environmental impacts and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and planners on project design.
  • Facilitate training sessions on environmental awareness and practices.
  • Support clients in obtaining necessary environmental permits.
  • Advocate for sustainable practices within client organizations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or project management
