Civil Engineer

Job Description

Join our Bloemfontein-based team as a Civil Engineer. The role entails working on exciting civil engineering projects, from conception through to completion. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to meet design specifications and adhere to project deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, planning, and construction of civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Prepare traffic and material calculations.
• Analyze survey reports and structural designs.
• Assist in solving design challenges and communicating solutions to the team.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and plans.
• Prepare detailed project proposals and estimates.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current in the civil engineering field.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's or higher is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Geotechnical Engineering
• Hydraulic Engineering

Languages
