UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate UX Designer to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs by conducting user research and evaluating user feedback. You will collaborate closely with product management and engineering to create intuitive and functional user interfaces for our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate with product managers to define user requirements.
• Work closely with developers to translate designs into functional interfaces.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides.
• Evaluate the usability of products and suggest improvements.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in the UX field

Technical Skills

• User Testing
• Prototyping Tools

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)
• Human-Computer Interaction Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with responsive design techniques: Understanding of responsive design for both mobile and desktop experiences.
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG): Familiarity with accessibility standards to ensure inclusivity in design.
