UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate UX/UI Designer to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of user-centered design principles. You will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces, conducting user research, and collaborating with our development team to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with user needs.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design solutions.
• Support the marketing team with design assets as needed.
• Collaborate with product managers to align design vision with business goals.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met in all designs.
• Document design processes and promote design thinking across teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or equivalent experience
• Professional UX/UI design certification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design preferably in an agency setting

Technical Skills

• Sketch

Languages

• English: Fluent
