Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Extruding, Forming, Pressing, and Compacting Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that machinery operates efficiently to meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machinery for different production runs.
• Monitor and control the quality of products being produced.
• Respond promptly to machinery alerts and alarms.
• Keep work area organized and free of hazards.
• Assist with the implementation of new processes or machinery.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Document and report any discrepancies or operational challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in the coatings or paint industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Machine Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift or Other Machinery Certification: Certification in operating machinery will be an asset.
