Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Specialist to join our Bloemfontein team. The specialist will play a critical role in developing and implementing public health programs aimed at improving community health and wellness. You will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing health data, and collaborating with local organizations to enhance public health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Research community health issues and trends.
• Design educational workshops and seminars.
• Collaborate with government health departments for program success.
• Create strategic health improvement plans based on data insights.
• Foster relationships with health professionals and local leaders.
• Engage in community health fairs and public health events.
• Conduct evaluations of existing public health programs.
• Assist in the development of health promotion materials.
• Track funding proposals and reports for health initiatives.
• Provide recommendations based on health assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health programs

Certifications

• Certified Public Health Administrator (CPHA)
