Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Specialist to join our Bloemfontein team. The specialist will play a critical role in developing and implementing public health programs aimed at improving community health and wellness. You will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing health data, and collaborating with local organizations to enhance public health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public health programs and interventions.
• Conduct research for health trends and data analysis.
• Collaborate with community organizations to foster health initiatives.
• Prepare reports for stakeholders on public health issues.
• Engage in public health education efforts targeted at diverse populations.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Support policy development related to public health.
• Identify community health needs through surveys and assessments.
• Provide support for health promotion initiatives.
• Participate in training and development for staff on public health topics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health programs

Certifications

• Certified Public Health Administrator (CPHA)
