Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of structural design principles and experience in managing projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed structural plans and specifications.
• Analyze material properties and select appropriate materials.
• Identify and mitigate potential structural risks.
• Collaborate with construction teams for project execution.
• Ensure accuracy in calculations and documentation.
• Lead the design review process and provide feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Safe Load Analysis

Soft Skills

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Engineering Technician (EngTech)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in public works projects: Experience working on public infrastructure projects like bridges or roads.
