Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard our digital assets in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and analytical skills to proactively identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions.
• Develop and maintain security policies and protocols.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and breaches.
• Collaborate with external partners on security measures.
• Lead security awareness programs throughout the organization.
• Conduct penetration testing to evaluate system vulnerabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles

Technical Skills

• Malware analysis
• Security policy development

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
