Tank Riveter

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Tank Riveter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and riveting steel plates to construct tanks for multiple applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic, be able to collaborate well with others, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of completed assemblies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Keep accurate records of production and assembly activities.
• Assist engineering teams with new tank designs.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Engineering or Trade qualification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in tank construction or related field

Technical Skills

• Metal Fabrication Skills
• Riveting and Welding

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Safety Certifications
• Welding Certification (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Stainless Steel: Background in working with stainless steel materials.
• Proficient in Hand and Power Tools: Comfortable using various hand and power tools in metalworking.
