Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. You will work closely with employees to troubleshoot problems, perform regular system checks, and maintain a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot IT-related problems in a timely manner.
• Install and support business-critical applications.
• Provide training sessions for new employees on IT policies and tools.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices.
• Maintain a high level of customer service in all interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Advanced diploma in IT or related field

Experience

• 3+ years in a technical support role or equivalent

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Understanding of Active Directory.: Experience with user management in Active Directory.
• Experience with MacOS support.: Familiarity with providing support for Mac systems.
