Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable energy solutions and experience in electrical design and power distribution. You will be involved in innovative projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and driving the transition to sustainable energy sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electrical systems for renewable energy projects.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for electrical installations.
• Implement energy-saving measures and monitor project performance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for project delivery.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in Energy Systems is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering or power systems

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
