Job Description

As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients adhere to tax legislation and regulations. You will conduct thorough reviews of tax documents, provide insights on compliance, and help clients navigate complex tax situations.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze client's tax obligations and propose strategies for optimization.
• Ensure timely submission of all tax documentation and compliance reports.
• Interface with tax authorities on behalf of clients regarding tax disputes.
• Perform regular audits of tax-related documents and processes.
• Keep abreast of emerging tax regulations and ensure compliance across clients.
• Assist in managing client expectations through effective communication.
• Provide insights on tax incentives and rebates applicable to client operations.
• Prepare detailed tax compliance reports for management review.
• Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in tax compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g. CA(SA), CIMA) is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax compliance or a similar role
