Job Description

The Electrical Power-Line Installer and Repairer, also known as a cableman, plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective installation and maintenance of electrical systems across various industries. You will be responsible for working with electrical wires and cables, which are essential for maintaining power lines and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect various types of electrical wires and cables.
• Conduct maintenance work on existing installations.
• Conduct troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records.
• Follow safety regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in training junior technicians as required.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in similar roles

Technical Skills
