Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant based in Cape Town to strengthen our security posture. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks, along with a keen understanding of cybersecurity threats.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement best practices for security controls.
• Assist clients in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Develop security training packages for client personnel.
• Advise on cloud security strategies and implementations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity.

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

• English: Fluent
