Responsibilities

• Manage the electrical engineering design process for various projects.
• Work closely with architects and civil engineers to integrate electrical designs.
• Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with South African standards and regulations in projects.
• Support project delivery through effective team collaboration.
• Provide regular updates to management on project progress.
• Mentor new team members in electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Innovate solutions that improve operational efficiency in projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Advanced diploma in Engineering Technology is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in electrical engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Circuit Simulation Software
• PLC Programming

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• SANS 10142 Certification
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of electric vehicle charging infrastructure: Experience in developing charging stations for electric vehicles.
• Proficient in project management software: Experience using tools like MS Project for managing engineering projects.
