Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Educational Content Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. This role focuses on developing, designing, and implementing effective educational content for various learning environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in curriculum development and instructional design.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and interactive learning materials that appeal to students.
  • Work closely with the pedagogical team to align curriculum goals with outcomes.
  • Adapt content to suit different learning environments and modalities.
  • Collect and analyse data to measure the impact of educational content.
  • Develop multimedia resources for enhanced learner engagement.
  • Mentor junior staff in content development best practices.
  • Participate in curriculum review committees for ongoing content improvement.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous development of materials.
  • Support educators in integrating new content into their teaching practices.
  • Facilitate workshops to promote innovative teaching strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or a related field is desirable
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in educational content development or instructional design
Technical Skills

Advantageous

  • Bilingual Skills: Ability to create content in both English and Afrikaans is a plus.
