Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee tax compliance for a diverse client portfolio.
• Ensure accurate tax reporting and minimize risks.
• Conduct detailed reviews of tax returns before submission.
• Support clients in tax audits and appeals processes.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation to tax authorities.
• Educate clients on tax benefits and tax-saving opportunities.
• Work with internal teams to optimize tax-related processes.
• Assist in implementing software for tax compliance management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Taxation is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of experience in the accounting or taxation field

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Tax Legislation
• Financial Reporting

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Client Management

Certifications

• Certified Tax Advisor (CTA)
• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• French: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with Taxation Software: Familiarity with tools like Taxify or SARS eFiling.
• Management Experience: Prior experience managing a team of accountants.
