Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee our supply chain operations in Cape Town. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of logistics activities, including inventory management and transportation coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day logistics operations ensuring efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to address logistics concerns.
• Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste.
• Monitor the performance of logistics vendors and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Assist in the development of logistics strategies.
• Prepare shipment schedules and arrange transportation.
• Ensure documentation for imports and exports is accurate.
• Conduct risk assessments related to logistics operations.
• Support training initiatives for the logistics team.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in logistics roles is preferred
