Job Description

Join us as we improve our cloud infrastructure! As a Cloud Architect, you’ll plan and manage cloud architecture while optimizing usage and cost. This includes working with our DevOps team to enhance automation, design secure cloud strategies, and define best practices for cloud usage across development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to consolidate cloud platforms to reduce costs.
• Advise on best practices for cloud deployment and architecture.
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments.
• Create cloud migration plans for new applications.
• Oversee security of cloud services and ensure best practices are followed.
• Mentor junior staff on cloud technologies and architecture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles

Technical Skills

• GCP
• Terraform
• Docker

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certified cybersecurity-related qualifications: Any cloud security certifications will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments preferred.
