Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering top-notch healthcare services. You will work closely with physicians and patients to assess, diagnose, and treat various health conditions, while promoting overall wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead patient assessment and clinical care delivery.
  • Design individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Monitor and improve patient outcomes through ongoing assessment.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.
  • Facilitate communication between medical staff and patients.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Provide training and support to nursing students and new hires.
  • Engage in research and quality improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and legal regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited body
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a primary care or clinical setting
