Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Design Technician to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in garment construction, pattern making, and an eye for detail, contributing to innovative fashion projects.

Responsibilities

• Bring innovative ideas to the design table while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Create patterns and samples for fittings, ensuring accuracy in measurements.
• Assist in the selection of fabrics, trimmings, and other materials.
• Collaborate with marketing for product launches and presentations.
• Keep an organized library of fabrics and patterns for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Advanced Certification in Fashion Technology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the fashion industry

Technical Skills

• CAD Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Fashion Merchandising Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiZulu: Conversational
