We are seeking a dedicated Dentist to join our Port Elizabeth practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team. This role includes performing dental examinations, diagnosing and treating oral diseases, and providing preventive care education to patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dental examinations and assess patient needs.
• Create tailored dental treatment plans for patients.
• Perform cleanings, root canals, and tooth extractions.
• Promote preventive services and education to patients.
• Work collaboratively in a dental team environment.
• Utilize modern technology and tools in dental procedures.
• Manage patient inquiries and follow-ups regarding treatment.
• Remain updated with the latest dental research and techniques.
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all dental procedures.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote dental health.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from a recognized institution
• Further training or specialization is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in a dental practice setting

• Restorative dentistry

Certifications

• Certified in Infection Control
• Oral Sedation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with practice management software: Experience with software for managing dental practice operations.
