Chemical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of chemical processes and will be responsible for designing, improving, and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure product safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead chemical engineering projects from conception to execution.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with health and safety officers to ensure compliance.
• Supervise trial runs and make adjustments as necessary.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with research teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
• Master's degree or PhD is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
