Construction Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion in Durban. The ideal candidate will manage all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions to identify construction requirements.
• Monitor job site safety and enforce safety policies.
• Collaborate with procurement teams for material sourcing and selection.
• Evaluate and mitigate potential project risks.
• Ensure quality control throughout all phases of construction.
• Develop budgets and timelines for construction projects.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide timely updates.
• Oversee project documentation and reporting processes.
• Assist in reporting changes and progress to stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with project teams and clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
