Job Description

The Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal conditions. We are looking for a passionate veterinary professional excited to work in a collaborative environment where patient care is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals to diagnose health issues.
• Perform surgical interventions and follow-up care.
• Provide emergency care when necessary.
• Engage in consultations and respond to client inquiries.
• Educate clients about animal husbandry and care practices.
• Maintain veterinary equipment and medical supplies.
• Lead health awareness campaigns in the community.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive animal care.
• Ensure animals are treated humanely and with dignity.
• Regularly update knowledge in veterinary medicine.

Requirements

Education

• BVSc or equivalent veterinary degree
• Advanced veterinary qualifications preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical veterinary practice

• Anaesthesia Management

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Conference Certification
• Advanced Surgical Techniques Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
