Our Pretoria office is in search of a skilled Civil Engineer to enhance our engineering team. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing various civil engineering projects, ensuring they comply with regulations and meet client specifications. Knowledge in infrastructure, drainage systems, and urban development will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create and present engineering reports and proposals to senior management and clients.
• Facilitate meetings with project teams and stakeholders to discuss progress and issues.
• Implement sustainable practices into engineering designs and project execution.
• Coordinate with environmental consultants to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Develop budgets and timelines for projects and monitor expenditures.
• Ensure all engineering work is done according to industry standards and regulations.
• Foster relationships with local government agencies and community organizations.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance on their career development.
• Explore new technologies and practices to innovate civil engineering solutions.
• Lead investigations into project failures or issues and provide corrective action.
