Financial Analyst

Job Description

As a Financial Analyst in Johannesburg, you will leverage financial modeling techniques to provide insights into business performance. You will support the finance team in managing budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Support management in financial decision-making by providing timely and relevant financial analysis.
• Develop budgets and forecasts with input from key stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in developing presentations for board meetings.
• Evaluate the financial performance of various departments.
• Conduct financial reviews and present findings to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial initiatives.
• Lead special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• CIMA or ACCA qualification is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis or similar role
