Environmental Scientist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful applicant will be passionate about environmental conservation and possess a strong understanding of ecological principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Research and assess various ecological impacts.
• Draft technical reports that communicate findings effectively.
• Support the development of environmental management systems.
• Provide training and guidance on environmental practices to staff.
• Assist in the implementation of sustainability initiatives across projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting

Certifications

• Environmental Management System (EMS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
