Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals facing various mental health challenges. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment approaches for diverse clients.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members on client care.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify as needed.
  • Engage in community mental health initiatives.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to guide interventions.
  • Foster a supportive and trust-building environment for clients.
  • Participate in regular training and supervision sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • Doctorate in Psychology is an asset
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a therapeutic role

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Registered Clinical Psychologist
Languages
  • English: Fluent
